Rationale – 222.257 Puna; Wellington-a city rich in Asian cuisine
My destination of the brochure is the Asian food in Wellington. The brochure is supposed to introduce three different styles of Asian restaurant to who are interesting in the Asian cuisine. I was taught how to design in a professional way. Overall, it is important to make a plan. The designer should process technically which suggests the process of understanding,define,ideate,making and crotique. In fact, i have to repeat those processes to idealize my work. I also realize that it is vital to communicate with the others, not only the lecturer but my classmate or the possible audiences. It will be helpful as the process of critique. As far as i am concerned, i did not do the critique well because i did not manage time properly. I figure that design is really a job about time. To achieve the destination, the designer always has to repeat the processes. by modifying the making and asking from the others, the design can perfect not only for the practical works but for understanding of the topic. To achieve this, i should have spent more time to try, to research and to ask.

The typology is far from ideal even on this page. My lecturer advised that some copy should use bold typeface.
 I think the map here does not show the destinations clearly enough.

Some textual problems here.

The lecturer said the illustration here does not show the dynamic and active emotion in the restaurant.

It is an unfinish page. just an icon in the middle does not show the place.

I deleted the text and i figure that it is better to change the color of text to white.

An illustration of sushi.

The new modification of Thai illustration.
Because i was working slower than the others, it could be the first critique of my composition.
for the first image, it shows that the keys on the lower right are not on the right place. It is better to place the keys on the right page and place them a little bit upper. Technically, it means that i should adjust the margin on Indesign.
Overall, the typeface of the text on all page is too big now. The icons of secondary communication points are too big as well.

The lecturer advised that the illustration here can be more colorful.

She also advised that i should use more waved patterns on this page.

The lecture did give me some advice on this page but i am not going to mention it now because this page is far from idealism even from my view. I plan to fully redo it.

The typology here was not applied well likes the beginning of the two columns on the right should be on the same line.
Besides, the icon in the middle is useless (It was a mistake actually).
